Harold Schnitzer Visiting Scholar Program Opportunity to collaborate with other researchers in Portland, Oregon, USA Applications due: June 1, 2025 Portland State University (PSU) is accepting applications for the Harold Schnitzer Visiting Scholar Program. Israeli researchers are encouraged to apply by June 1, 2025 to begin collaborating at PSU in the 2025-2026 academic year. This exceptional program is made possible by a generous gift from Arlene Schnitzer and Jordan Schnitzer through the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer Family Fund of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation. The program aims to foster meaningful collaboration between researchers from Israeli universities and faculty at PSU.
International Affairs: The International Affairs Division, the International School, and the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Technology offer funding support for international research conferences to be hosted at the University of Haifa in 2025. Applications for support will be screened by a steering committee that will examine the international component of the conference, including speakers from abroad with an international research reputation, the scope of the conference, and its academic contribution. The support is for 8 conferences, with the maximum support amount per conference being NIS 25,000. Support will only be provided to conferences that will take place during 2025 and end no later than 31.7.2025, with the final date for reporting on implementation: 30.8.25.For more information .

The Bucerius Institute for Research of Contemporary German History and Society invites applications for the Manfred Lahnstein one-year post-doctoral fellowship (for a minimum of 10 months). The successful applicant will receive a fellowship in the amount of 90,000 NIS and office facilities for conducting research at the University of Haifa.

The Bucerius Institute for Research of Contemporary German History and Society invites applications for the Manfred Lahnstein one-year post-doctoral fellowship (lasting a minimum of 10 months). The fellowship of 90000 NIS (together with office facilities) will be granted for research at the University of Haifa.
