המחקר שלי עוסק בהצטלבות בין שירת הרנסנס לתנ"ך על ידי שימוש בגישות עכשוויות למשפחה, תיאוריה פמיניסטית ופסיכואנליזה. עבודת הדוקטורט שלי, אותה השלמתי בשנת 2024 באוניברסיטת חיפה, חקרה את התלות ההדדית של קשרי המשפחה ב"גם העדן האבוד" של ג'ון מילטון דרך גישה מבנית למשפחה של סלבדור מינושין. גישה זו מציעה קריאה הומניסטית של היצירה, התואמת את התפיסה המוניסטית של מילטון לגבי גוף ונשמה. כרגע אני מרחיבה את הניתוח של היצירה על ידי בדיקה מחודשת של המקורות הספרותיים והחשיבות הסימבולית של דמותה של חטא.

My research explores the intersection between Renaissance poetry and the Bible, through contemporary approaches to family, feminist theory and psychoanalysis. My dissertation, completed in 2024 at the University of Haifa, explored the interdependence of familial relationships in John Milton’s Paradise Lost through the lens of Salvador Minuchin’s structural theory of the family. This approach offers a humanistic reading of the epic, consistent with Milton’s monist conception of body and spirit. I am currently expanding this framework by reexamining the literary sources and the symbolic significance of the character of Sin in Milton’s poem
