I earned my M.A. in Applied English Linguistics from the University of Haifa, graduating with honors. Supervised by Prof. Batia Laufer, my thesis explored knowledge of derived words among English as a foreign language (EFL) learners. I have nearly a decade of experience teaching undergraduate courses in English proficiency and English for academic purposes. Moreover, I have vast experience editing academic articles for international journals, working with researchers from across Israel.
Continuing my focus on EFL vocabulary acquisition, my Ph.D. research – also supervised by Prof. Batia Laufer – examines how lexical items from Israel’s new national EFL curriculum are incorporated into teaching materials and acquired by students. This work bridges curriculum design, textbook implementation, and vocabulary knowledge to inform pedagogical practice and policy development.
